Finding My Path

Behind me is Mount Katahdin in the wilderness of Maine. This is the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. I would complete my 2,193 mile hike the next day.

The Appalachian Trail

An Incredible Journey Of Self Discovery

  • A Need To Escape.

Starting in Georgia the trail follows the crest of the Appalachian Mountains to the depths of Maine’s wilderness and ending 2,193 miles later atop Mount Katahdin.

  • Enduring Hardships.

The trail challenges you like nothing else can. Not simply a walk in the woods, but instead it’s a daily challenge of enduring pain, hunger, loneliness and the desire for a hot meal and a hot shower.

  • A New Connection With Nature.

this journey gave me a connection to nature that ignited a new found love of photography and a need to share this feeling through my work.
